• In this talk, Prof. Keller will explore why advancing women in science and engineering is not a women-only issue, but a prerequisite for inclusive excellence. Drawing on the MIT Women’s experience documented in the 1999 MIT Report, insights from The Exceptions, and the creation of the ETH Women Professors Forum, she will illustrate how collective action and male allyship can drive meaningful institutional change. The discussion will highlight the importance of transparent excellence and performance-based access to opportunity, and invite all colleagues to share responsibility for building academic cultures that reward merit, expand opportunity, and accelerate innovation.
